The lead piece from the hit musical Evita, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and it has been performed on stages around the world as well as in more that one feature film. I first encountered this song in the 1996 film staring Madonna as Evita and is therefore my reference version 🙂
I had not realised how low this song goes, it’s not a problem for piano, but when playing on the flute I had to shift this up quite a bit to make it comfortable to play. Mess around with the key and find a place that’s right for you and your instrument – enjoy!
