How Great Thou Art – Carrie Underwood

How Great Thou Art – Carrie Underwood

“How Great Thou Art” is a Christian hymn based on a Swedish traditional melody and a poem written in 1885 by Carl Boberg. Since then, it’s travelled around the world and been translated into multiple languages and has become one of the most popular Christian hymns.

It’s a bit challenging to play with lots of sharps and flats, but is a nice one once you’re in the flow 🙂

Did you know?!  “How Great Thou Art” has been covered by Yolanda Adams, Pentatonix, Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Elvis Presley and OneVoice.
