Silver Bells – Bing Crosby and Carol Richards

“Silver Bells” is a popular Christmas song, which was first performed by Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell in 1950 for the 1951 film “The Lemon Drop Kid”. “Silver Bells” was also recorded by Bing Crosby and Carol Richards in 1950 which over time became the more popular version.

It first hit the charts in the UK in 2009 when it was covered by Terry Wogan and Aled Jones. It has also been sung by Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Doris Day, Martina McBride, Michael Bublé, Brenda Lee, The Carpenters, R.E.M, Billy Idol, Bob Dylan and Dean Martin.
