Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver

Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver

The popular country song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” was released by John Denver in 1971 and was particularly successful in West Virginia where it has become somewhat of an anthem.

It has been covered by Olivia Newton-John and Hermes House Band, and featured in the 2017 film Kingsman.

It’s is a lovely, slow and easy tune to play which makes it a perfect one for beginners across most instruments.
