“Somewhere Only We Know” is a song by English alternative rock band Keane. It was the first single released from their debut album “Hopes and Fears” and became one of the biggest hits of 2004.
In 2013, the song was covered by Lily Allen for a John Lewis Christmas advert. It has also been covered by other artists including Natasha Bedingfield, Lifehouse, Travis, Stacey Solomon and the Glee cast!
A relatively easy piece to play, and a nice slow pace to practice at. Good luck with it 🙂

I walked across an empty land

I felt the earth beneath my feet

Sat by the river

Oh simple thing

Where have you gone

I’m getting old
