Learning Keyboard/Piano

Hello!

I am just starting to learn how to play piano/keyboard and was wondering if anyone has tips that helped them learn? I am also interested in learning how to play using sheet music (have previously used it with trumpet and clarinet), and was wondering where you would recommend starting?

If you need help remebering the keys then use stickers. I labeled C and F and it has helped me a lot. C is before every 2 black keys and F is before every 3 black keys.

I’ve been toying with the idea of buying a basic keyboard and trying to learn. I don’t claim to know the first thing about Keyboards and to be honest I don’t know where to begin when trying to buy my first one! Can anyone offer any suggestions for beginners keyboards? I play guitar at the moment, which I’ve been told is beneficial when trying to learn piano / keyboard. Can anyone confirm this?
