Flute notes for songs written between 2000-present day.
Having been making music for 20 years (and still going!), it’s likely everyone’s heard a Röyksopp song at some point – I hear them in the background a lot on random BBC shows, usually ‘Eple’ haha 😀 ‘Running to the Sea’ is a beautiful, mournful, slow song with a really simple melody – perfect for […]
Here’s my attempt at “Down in New Orleans” from Disney’s animated film, The Princess and the frog. I found this one really tricky to try and work out, so let me know if there are any obvious fixes so i can make it better 🙂 Otherwise I hope you enjoy! Down in New Orleans – The […]
Adding to the collection of “The Greatest Showman” songs in letter note format, here’s “From Now On” performed brilliantly by Hugh Jackman for you to enjoy practising too 🙂 From Now On – The Greatest Showman was last modified: November 19th, 2018 by nat
Released in 2012, “Beneath Your Beautiful” is sung by both Labrinth and Emeli Sandé and has since been covered by Passenger, and featured in the charts around the world. Letter notes below, happy practice 🙂 Beneath Your Beautiful – Labrinth was last modified: April 11th, 2018 by nat
The catchy output of a collaboration between Santana and Nickleback’s Chad Kroeger, “Into the Night” isn’t a song i’d heard until recently, however once I had, working out the chorus was irresistible! It’s a nice easy piece and the chorus sounds pretty good, so i’d recommend listening to the song if you don’t know it already […]
Bruno Mars’ 2010 debut single “Just the Way You Are” topped the charts around the world so it’s a song everyone will have encountered. The notes are simple, however the quicker pace of this song makes it’s a nice challenge for beginners to practice rhythm and timing 🙂 Just The Way You Are – Bruno […]
Here are the music notes to the melodic parts of ‘Stressed Out’ by ‘Twenty Øne PilØts’. Quite short, but pretty close I think! Please let me know if you think i’m off! Enjoy 🙂 Stressed Out – Twenty One Pilots was last modified: April 8th, 2018 by nat
Performed by Zendaya and Zac Efron, “Rewrite The Stars” is a simple melody played over many octaves, so an interesting challenge for beginners and intermediates on most instruments. This is now the 5th “The Greatest Showman” song I’ve done, I hope you enjoy this and the others and that’s probably enough for now! 🙂 Rewrite […]
One of the lead songs from the recent Disney film Moana, “How Far I’ll Go” is a lovely, inspirational piece and great fun to practice 🙂 How Far I’ll Go – Moana (Disney) was last modified: April 2nd, 2018 by nat
The opening song from the new musical film The Greatest Showman, “A Million Dreams” is a lovely practice piece for beginners on most instruments. This song has a large note range, so if you have trouble playing it, play with the ‘settings’ until it’s comfortable to play 🙂 The song is performed in the film […]
It's a bit odd, but for some reason nat really enjoys spending her free time on a laptop (ideally with a coffee and a cat) rather than 'going out' or 'having fun'!
