FYI should anyone else be interested – submissions would definitely be useful! Also if anyone is willing to record themselves playing a tune (any instrument) i’d love to feature it on the page to give an example of how the tune should sound (i’ve done a few, but i’m not that great, example on “The Hills are Alive” https://noobnotes.net/the-hills-are-alive-julie-andrews/) I run this site by myself in my free time, so any ideas / vids / song notes would be gratefully added to the site 🙂 🙂

Hey Ellie, thanks very much for your timely suggestion!

Strangely enough, I’d not seen any of Les Mis before until yesterday evening when I started watching the movie on the way home from work! I’m only 30mins or so in, but can already see some bits that’d be great fun to try and work out 🙂

I know the song “I Dreamed a Dream” is from this so was expecting to do that, now I know there’s interest in others, I’ll put more on the to-do list!

Until then, there are more Phantom songs lined up, plus I’m hoping to do some from Wicked as well so do check back!

Unfortunately BTS isn’t a band i’d heard of until I did some googling and discovered a whole new world of k-pop – an eye-opener haha 😀

I’d love to be able to be able to transcribe these for you however realistically i’d take me a long time to learn the songs and deal with another language – so i did some googling for you and found a site that transcribes a lot of k-pop (plus lots of other stuff!), including some BTS:

I had a listen and I know the song from Sister Act haha – I didn’t realise it was by “The Edwin Hawkins Singers”, I will definitely get round to transcribing this as I reckon it’ll be really fun to play!

I will add it to the (growing..!) list and post back on here once it’s published – it might be a while though so thanks in advance for your patience 😛

Hey Emily, thanks so much for your ell-timed suggestion – i’ve been thinking about other Disney songs to add and had completely overlooked The Princess and the Frog 😀

I only saw it once when it came out (nearly 10 years ago :O) so I don’t remember the songs at all, but now you’ve reminded me about the film i would really like to watch it again!

It may take me a while to get done, but consider these songs well and truly on the ‘to-do’ list! I’ll reply back to you here when they are published 🙂
