Hey Katie! Thanks for visiting and posting 🙂 you’re right, it’s just me (nat, hi!) who runs the site, although i love the idea of everyone helping each other out with notes as i’m only a noob myself 😀

I’ve not heard of Gerry Cinnamon before, but i did a google and heard a few live recordings, i can see why you’d like to play it 🙂 I can’t find any good quality versions (just him singing, no crowd etc) to make it easier for me learn the song and hear the notes, but i did find some guitar tabs some guy wrote up:: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/gerry_cinnamon/fickle_mcselfish_chords_1964315 -not sure if that could help get you started?! And also what instrument do you play?! sorry if chords are useless.. 🙂

I don’t suppose there’s anything else, perhaps a bit more popular too so i may have heard of it and can find a clear recording, that i can help you out with so you can play at your parent’s anniversary?!

Thanks for the suggestion, i was thinking about doing ‘Little Do You Know’ (one i heard around) – have just listened to ‘Bumper Cars’ and you’re right it’s lovely 🙂

I’ll give it a go but when they sing at the same time, it breaks my head and it’s really tricky to work out the notes!! 😛

I will try it out and let you know if i can do ‘Bumper Cars’ – ‘Little Do You Know’ can be my back-up plan (it sounds much simpler haha :D)

Will mark this as to-do, and will do my best to get you a Alex and Sierra song 🙂

Hey Tessa, thanks for clarifying! I have listened to the song and it’s pretty cool 🙂

I imagine i could work out the intro part with some time and capture the essence of the ‘Joanna’ bit, however the way the lady was singing sounded a bit off, almost spoken, i’m not sure i’d be able to work it out. Would doing the intro be enough to get you playing and enjoying this song? The melodies seem pretty consistent and repeated throughout, so i do hope so 🙂

If not, i saw on google that the full sheet music score is available on http://www.sheetmusicexchange.com – let me know how you’d like to proceed 🙂

Either way, i think i’ll have to watch Sweeney Todd now, it sounds interesting 😀
