At the moment the best way to get to the most simple songs is either:

1) Browse the ‘hildren’s song collection here:

2) Browse the songs I mark as ‘easy’ here:
https://noobnotes.net/browse/difficulty/easy-song-letter-notes/

I think what you’d really benefit from is an easy way to browse songs with the smallest note ranges, is that right? …sounds like a fun programming challenge to me!

Hi Jo, thanks for your suggestions 🙂

Unfortunately I don’t really listen to much modern pop music and don’t know any of the songs you’ve listed 🙁

At my current rate, I manage to transcribe about 2-4 songs a week in my free time, and that’s when I know the song, it takes me much longer to learn it first and then transcribe it. With the list of songs I’m planning to do, it’s unlikely i’ll be able to get round to these any time soon.

I try to add modern pop songs when I hear them enough (I have ‘Havana’!) and may add more in time, but i’m generally at least a few years behind mainstream, hoping to do ‘Someone Like You’ by Adele soon 😛 🙂

Hey Lexie, thanks for your suggestion! I’ve only recently discovered Les Mis (mad huh?!) and have been enjoying transcribing the songs but for some reason had totally overlooked this one, so will definitely add it to the list! Hope you enjoy the other Les Mis songs for now 🙂 🙂 nat

Hey Lexie, thanks for the suggestion! I try to stick to doing the most popular version of a song so my transcriptions are of use to as many people as possible, so would therefore want to do the Labyrinth version, are the versions similar enough for that to be of use to you?

I don’t actually know any Passenger songs, I only heard “Let Her Go” in the Kygo remix haha 😀 So if you have a specific request let me know and i’ll take a listen, just please bear in mind there’s big backlog and songs take a me a while to learn and transcribe 🙂

Ok so there’s gonna be some Les Mis lined up, I’m currently working on “I Dreamed a Dream” (classic), “A Little Fall of Rain” (my fave!) and “On My Own” (lovely), adding more as and when I can – you can expect these in the next few weeks 🙂
