From the Rodgers and Hammerstein 1951 musical classic The King and I, the song "Getting to Know You" features near the beginning and is sung by Anna with the royal children she's about to mentor.
It's a relatively simple tune, upbeat and mid-speed, so should be a great one for beginners to practice :)
Did you know?! "Getting to Know You" has been sung by Julie Andrews, Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Elaine Paige and many others, as well as appear in other films (The Addams Family, would you believe?!)
